KuneriLite video – Featured #1 in Hong Kong01.02.09

Do you remember our How to Draw N95 8GB using MS Paint KuneriLite viral video on YouTube?  It’s been more than 8 months we released this unique piece of art and it received 25.000 unique views in 1 month after the first release. Recently, we started to receive mass amounts of comments to the video, and saw that it got more than 10.000 views in less than a week, moreover featured as #1 video in Hong Kong in Film & Animation category. “Wow” was our first reaction. Well, this is the power of a social/viral advertising, and the proof that a great art does not depend on time or die.

Kuneri on Helsinki Times – Small mobile startup with big success12.12.08

We are happy to see Kuneri is featured with “Small mobile start-up with big success” article on Helsinki Times, an independent weekly newspaper covering news and events in Finland.

For such a small company, Kuneri is definitely attracting a lot of attention. Kuneri is an Oulu-based mobile innovation company known for its Flash Lite-oriented technologies. Earlier this year telecom giant Nokia chose Kuneri along with eight other companies to join its Forum Nokia Innovation Series. The company has come a long way in two years.

David interviewed me last week and article is already on the paper this week.

Kuneri is selected for Forum Nokia Innovation Series Program11.24.08

Another great news from Kuneri. We are very proud to be globally recognized (once again) and take our place among 8 other most innovative companies in the world selected by Nokia with KuneriLite. See the complete press release by Nokia.

Nokia today announced the selection of nine additional mobile application developers from Asia, Europe and the Americas to expand its 2008 Forum Nokia Innovation Series program.  The program provides select small- and mid-sized developers with business and market support while showcasing their next generation mobile applications and services for consumer and business audiences worldwide.

The nine exceptional companies recognized today join an initial group of six North American and two European developers chosen in the third quarter of 2008 to participate in the Innovation Series Program. The latest program participants address a broad spectrum of applications, including mobile voice reminders, data protection and device security solutions, point-to-point travel navigation, Adobe® Flash® Lite(TM) mobile content for sales and marketing, and reward-based advertising over mobile devices.
Developers chosen to participate in the 2008 Forum Nokia Innovation Series program cleared multiple selection hurdles over the course of the past year as part of the Innovation Series selection process, which included internal Nokia reviews and the screening of application features and functionality by consumer focus groups around the world. Each participant in the 2008 Forum Nokia Innovation Series was required to demonstrate that their application or service provided specific benefits to Nokia mobile device users not otherwise available, and that a clear market demand existed for such a solution.
