Design province labs, creator of LiveU screensaver (which also is enabled on KISS60), released a new Flash Lite screensaver called iBattery.
It’s quite elegant, simple, and iPhone-like. You can see the battery level and time as well.

Bill posted a really great resource: Flash Lite market percentage (as of January 2008). Those numbers are from U.S and Western Europe and give quite good impression of the target market in those selected regions. Listed numbers include Nokia S60, Nokia Series 40, Sony Ericsson and BREW. It’s especially great to see the numbers of devices separately for each platform as well. I always thought UK had the most S60 devices in Europe, however it’s clear that Italy is the leader.

Nokia annonced new 3G phone, which makes difference with its elegance high-end look. Press release toasts of phone’s new design of hinge, which gives smooth feeling of use.
6555 is S40 device, having QVGA 16M color screen and it costs only 200 eur. Certainly it will have Flash Lite player, but version is not known yet.

Nokia launches Remote Device Access (RDA).
Remote Device Access (RDA) technology enables remote access to mobile devices over the Internet. The system consists of a device pool connected to a server, and users connecting to the server in order to remotely use the devices. Once a user has connected to a device, the screen of the device is transfered to the user’s desktop in real time. In addition, the user can install applications on the device, transfer files, and analyze log files in real time. This enables developers to test their mobile applications and services on various Nokia devices based on Symbian OS. RDA is an Internet-based solution, and the requirements for using the service are a standard Web browser and Javaâ„¢ Web Start (typically comes with Java Runtime Environment, JRE).

Vivek recently posted small tips about creating Flash Lite wallpapers and a small but useful template. For now there is only 240×320 resolution template for Series 40, but he promises more soon.
