On2 acquires Hantro

A recent acquisition; On2 acquires Hantro. Ok, you are wondering why I post this as a news; 2 good reasons:

1) Hantro is a Finnish company based in Oulu. ( See where is Kuneri located )

2) On2 is a company that powers VP6 codec that is leveraged in Flash video. Hantro specializes in video for mobile. Which looks like On2 is on something about Flash Lite video.

    I use Sorenson squeeze which has the VP6 codec and On2 VBR Pass and works well but takes a long time to create the files. My computer is very fast but works slow with that software. What’s the average time for these files to be created if there not longer than 10 minutes in length?
